It’s finally spooky season and in Ocean City, Maryland, we have plenty of ways to celebrate one of our favorite times of the year! OCtoberfest is back in our favorite resort town to show you a monster-iffic good time. Plan your trip to Ocean City this October and get in on all the fun there is to be had.

OCMD OCtoberfest Activities
Head into OCMD this October for free family fun with the 9th Annual OCtoberfest! Kick-off the weekend festivities on Friday, October 23rd at 7 pm for socially distanced Beach Fireworks along the Boardwalk near North Division St.! Be sure to get a good night’s sleep after the fireworks because when you wake up Saturday morning, it’s time for a weekend full of family fun!
Halloween Beach Maze
Get lost in the thrills and excitement on October 24th and 25th for the Halloween Beach Maze! Children of all ages can participate and enjoy the giant beach maze where wicked witches, pirates of the sand, and ghouls in the graveyard add to the spooky excitement! Please remember that maks will be required to walk through the maze, and families will be allowed in one group at a time to ensure socially distanced fun!
Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade
At Macky’s Bayside, you already know that we love our pets, so it’s no surprise that the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade is one of our favorite events during OCtoberfest! Dress up your dog, cat, or other pet to walk the Boardwalk on October 24th at 1 pm near North Division Street. Parde the boards or sit back and cheer on your favorite. The Howl-O-Ween Pet Parde is giving out prizes and surprises throughout the event, donations of pet supplies and monetary donations will also be collected for the Worcester Humane Society during the parade. Facemasks will be required, and pre-registration is highly encouraged!
Drive-in Disguise & Trunk or Treat
Celebrate Halloween in Ocean City, MD with some fun activities for the entire family! The Halloween Drive in Disguise parade will start at 3 pm on October 24th, and ride from 26th Street towards the Pier. Participants who love Halloween are invited to dress their vehicle in costume and ride down the OC Boardwalk. After the Drive in Disguise fun, Trunk or Treating will begin on the Boardwalk, south of Caroline St. and north of the Pier. Trunk or Treat begins around 3:30 pm and lasts until the candy is gone!
The Great Pumpkin Race
Closeout OCtoberfest with the Great Pumpkin Race on Sunday, October 25th at 1 pm on the Boardwalk near North Division Street. Build your own pumpkin race car and compete in a side-by-side downhill race! Prizes will be awarded in each division and masks will be required for spectators and participants.
