Macky’s Inaugural ‘White Marlin Open Bucket Challenge’
Name a boat in the White Marlin Open, order a Macky’s Bucket, & watch the leaderboard. Boat with the most buckets ordered wins!!
OCEAN CITY, MD. (July 20, 2023) — Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill on 54th street is celebrating their first ‘White Marlin Open Bucket Challenge.’
Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill, an iconic Ocean City restaurant, recently announced their ‘White Marlin Open Bucket Challenge.’ Stop by between August 5th and 11th to participate in the challenge, simply name which boat you are supporting in the 2023 White Marlin Open, order a Macky’s cocktail Bucket, & watch the leaderboard climb. At the end of the week the boat with the most buckets ordered wins!!
“I’m a big fan of the White Marlin Open, and so is everyone else at Macky’s, it’s one of the best Ocean City traditions. Our team is really excited to celebrate our first Macky’s Bucket Challenge.” said Rick Haney, manager at Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill.
Prizes for the winning boat include a Macky’s merchandise pack for the boat crew, a 2024 White Marlin Open kickoff party for 25 guests, and of course, bragging rights!

Stop by and name a boat when you order your blueberry lemonade, sangria or a crush bucket and watch the leaderboard each day to see who is in the lead. Blueberry Lemonade Buckets are my favorite! said Julie Hemp, Macky’s General Manager and OC local.
