Macky’s Bayside Bar and Grill Donates $5,000 To The Worcester County Humane Society

OCEAN CITY, MD. (October 26, 2023) — Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill recently hosted their annual Waggin’ Donate benefiting the Worcester County Humane Society.  The event raised $5,000 for the private, no-kill shelter serving the animals and citizens of Worcester County Maryland.

“Many don’t realize the extent of the homeless animals in Worcester County”, said Julie Hemp, General Manager of Macky’s. “It was awesome to see the community come out in support of the Humane Society and the dog they brought, Copper, even got adopted!”

The Worcester County Humane Society provides compassionate shelter and focuses on the animal’s well-being, while also looking for there forever homes.

“This is a Macky’s tradition that will always hold a special place in our hearts and next year we plan on making the event even bigger!” Hemp said.
