Winterfest of Lights in OCMD
Step into a Winter Wonderland at Northside park at the 27th Annual Winterfest of Lights! Catch a ride on the Winterfest Express and watch Ocean City, MD light up while you ride through more than one million holiday lights and hundreds of animated light displays. Be sure to bundle up in your winter coats and blankets for this one-mile journey through 58-acres of lights featuring Christmas classics and fairytale themed exhibits.
After your ride along the Winterfest Express, escape the cold inside the heated Winterfest Villiage pavilion. Grab some hot cocoa and browse the holiday shop for fun, holiday-themed gifts to give to your friends and family. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to see the man himself! Santa will be at his workshop inside the Winterfest pavilion for photos each night. The Winterfest of Lights will be on display until December 31st, New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Eve Celebration and Fireworks
Looking to spend New Year in Ocean City, Maryland this year? Celebrate 2020 by heading into Northside Park for their New Year’s Eve Celebration and Fireworks! This family-friendly New Year’s event begins at 5:30 pm until 12:15 am. Ride through the Winterfest of Lights, and stick around to watch the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show, a great, kid-friendly way to ring in the New Year with family and friends.
New Year’s Eve Ball Drop at the Atlantic Hotel
Celebrate with a traditional New Year’s Eve ball drop this year! Head into the Town of Berlin, just a short drive from Ocean City, Maryland, and enjoy the Town of Berlin’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop by gathering in front of the historic Atlantic Hotel. The New Year’s Eve festivities will start at 10:00 pm, with drinks from Burley Oak Brewery and food vendors serving up your favorite quick-bites and snacks throughout the night. There will be DJs playing music and a light show to provide entertainment all night long, as well as a countdown clock projected onto the side of Town Center Antiques for attendees to countdown the final seconds until the ball is dropped!
