O.C.toberfest
O.C.toberfest is a favorite for locals and seasoned out-of-towners alike! If you’re not familiar with what O.C.toberfest is, it’s a series of Halloween-inspired events running from October 19th through the 27th! With everything from a Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade hosted by Worcester County Humane Society, to a Beach Maze in the sand! Paranormal Investigation
Join the Paranormal Investigation Group, Dead of Night, on October 25th and 26th at the Ocean City Lifesaving Museum! Dead of Night will be conducting their investigation, using equipment such as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorder and an EMF (Electromagnetic Frequency) meter to detect and communicate with the supernatural spirits. Tour the museum and listen to staff members tell tales of past paranormal encounters that have occurred within the museum walls, and hear chilling stories from when the station was in use.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ghost Tour
Head to the Boardwalk and join Ripley’s Believe It or Not! To investigate paranormal activity on Friday or Saturday nights throughout October! Embark on a guided tour where you can discover evidence collected by professional paranormal investigators. When the lights go out and the music is silenced, tales of Ripley’s haunted exhibits join the rich history of Ocean City ghost spottings that may bring seekers face-to-face with unexpected visitors.
Seaside 10 Mile/5K Halloween Run
Put on your running shoes and gear up for the Seaside 10 Mile/ 5K Halloween Run. Take advantage of the OCMD boardwalk, jumping off at 27th Street, head north towards 68th Street and then back again. The 5K course will start at the same location, circle the Pier, go down to 17th Street, and turn around again. Come dressed up for Halloween on October 26th, racing starts at 1:00 pm.
Halloween Spook-Out Party
Join your friends and family at the Halloween “Spook Out” Party at Northside Park on Sunday, October 27th from 1-3 pm! Have a howling good time with carnival games, arts & crafts, hayrides, snacks, and so much more! Dress in your favorite costume because costume contests will be held throughout the event!
